WIN The Ultimate Quirky Family Holiday!

1.     The promotional period begins on Monday, 28^th October 2019 and finishes on Friday, 13^th December 2019.  The winner will be drawn on Monday, 16^th December 2019.

2.     The Promotion comprises entering the draw to win a trip worth up to NZD 20,000 to either New York (USA), Hollywood (USA) or Bordeaux (France).

3.     To enter the Promotion you must, during the promotional period:          

a.               Complete the online entry form at www.themarket.com/win-addams, including entering your legal name, phone number and email address.  Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion.

b.               Enter the Promotion in your name only. The entrant may be requested to provide appropriate photo identification to confirm proof of identity, e.g. passport and/or a valid driver’s license.

c.               Be a NZ resident of 18 years or older at time of entry.

4.     By entering this Promotion, entrants give consent to receiving subsequent promotional emails from TheMarket and Cookie Time. Entrants can unsubscribe from any future marketing communications via the unsubscribe link contained within such communications.

5.     Each completed and valid entry will go into the prize draw. Each completed entry form constitutes a single entry into the draw.

a.     Additionally, all valid entrants will automatically receive one (1) additional entry into the prize draw per purchase transaction on TheMarket.com with a value greater than NZD 50, during the promotional period. The valid transaction value of minimum NZD 50 includes shipping and any associated discounts. There is no limit to the number of times such additional entries can be acquired within the promotional period, as long as each results from a separate valid transaction. Order cancellations will invalidate the corresponding entry into the draw.

b.     And, all valid entrants will automatically receive three (3) additional entry into the prize draw per purchase transaction from the Cookie Time – "Munchtime” store on TheMarket.com with a value greater than NZD 50, during the promotional period. The valid transaction value of minimum NZD 50 includes shipping and any associated discounts. There is no limit to the number of times such additional entries can be acquired within the promotional period, as long as each results from a separate valid transaction. Order cancellations will invalidate the corresponding entry into the draw.

6.     All completed and valid entries received by midnight Friday,13^th December 2019 will be entered into the prize draw.

7.     One winner will be drawn at random to claim one (1) prize package valued at up to NZD 20,000.

       Terms and conditions of prize package A:

-        Economy flights from major international airports in Auckland or Christchurch, New Zealand only. Flights may be indirect and not all routings will be available. Flight itinerary will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion

-        At least one person travelling must be over the age of 21

-        Accommodation is based on 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years old sharing a quadruple occupancy room; a valid credit or debit card will be required to guarantee your room on check in. Stay must include a Saturday night

-        The prize excludes domestic ground transfers, rental car, meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package

-        All elements of the prize are subject to availability. If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered

-        Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion

-        Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure

-        Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled

-        Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash alternative is available

-        Tickets to a Broadway show will be subject to availability and dependent on the winner’s chosen travel dates. The winner will be given a choice of running shows and tickets are subject to availability.

-        All experiences will be conducted in French or English

-        For the cave tour, the minimum age is 4, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

-        For the adventure park, the minimum height is 1.30 meters – visitors smaller than this can use alternative courses. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The maximum weight is 240lbs and availability is weekend-only during low-peak months (March-June and September-November). The park is closed from December until March - if unavailable, an alternative activity will be arranged

        Each prize package provides complementary Winner Management services, including:

8.     Winner will be contacted via the phone number provided on the online entry form. 

9.     Winner will be contacted on Monday, 16^th December 2019 between the hours of 9am and 5pm. In the event that a prize winner is not able to be contacted by Wednesday, 18^th December 2019, or cannot validate their entry within 5 working days of being contacted, the prize will be redrawn on 23 December 2019 on the same terms as the original draw

10.   The winner must be able to present valid proof of identity, e.g. passport and/or a valid driver’s license, in order to be eligible to redeem the prize.

11.   The winner must agree to their name, region and photo being published on TheMarket and Cookie Time websites and in other marketing material produced by both companies, and to any publicity both companies require as part of receiving their prize. The winner agrees to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose, without compensation.

12.   The winner agrees to grant TheMarket and Cookie Time a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

Additional Terms and Conditions

13.   The Promoters are The Warehouse Group Investment Limited trading as TheMarket, Cookie Time Limited and Universal Studios Hollywood.

14.   Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of any applicable Terms and Conditions.  All entries become the property of TheMarket and Cookie Time.  

15.   Entry is open to all residents of New Zealand except for employees and their immediate families of The Warehouse Group Investments Limited, Cookie Time, their subsidiaries and entities.

16.   TheMarket and Cookie Time reserve the right to extend, postpone, or cancel the Promotion and to update the terms and conditions without notice.

17.   It is a condition of accepting any prize with a travel element that all components of the prize be taken during the trip; that all persons taking the trip depart from and return at the same time to the same location, unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter; and that all persons taking the trip sign a waiver of liability and an indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

18.   Prize value is correct at the time of printing and no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize or the nature of any prize item.

19.   The winner and the travelling companions must obtain travel insurance at their cost for the duration of the trip and, if required, provide evidence of such insurance to the Promoter prior to departure. 

20.   The winner and the travelling companions must obtain suitable visa documentation at their own expense if required, and must have the legal right to travel to the country of the chosen prize.

21.   The winner will be solely responsible for his/her travel companion(s), including ensuring that they understand and adhere to all relevant terms and conditions of this Promotion.

22.   TheMarket and Cookie Time may be required by law to disclose any of the information that you provide and will only make the disclosure if they believe, in good faith, that it is required to do so.

23.   TheMarket and Cookie Time’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into.

24.   TheMarket and Cookie Time accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings.  Independent financial advice should be sought.

25.   Any product images or photos used in promotional material for this Promotion either in store or online are indicative only.

26.   TheMarket and Cookie Time reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry and/or the spirit of the Promotion.

27.   TheMarket and Cookie Time and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems.

28.   TheMarket and Cookie Time and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained by any entrant or prizewinner in connection with any product purchased for this Promotion or any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
